Exploring with Tania during a private lesson some years ago, I saw for the first time that visual art can emerge from the living now -- the living me -- of this moment. I had never even imagined I could experience this. Creating visual art had previously felt empty and mechanical, and I'd concluded that it just wasn't my thing. With Tania's gentle guidance and encouragement, though, I learned to let the image emerge through me, through the movement of my hand, moment by moment. That she could so gently touch on just that connection, and coax its emergence, brings tears of wonder and gratefulness to my eyes to this day. Thank you, Tania. My heart thanks you!
